Shallow

Live in denial about your wealth,
Continue your depravity and watch your health.
You think you know how you ended up with all that gold.
I know, you sold your soul.
Masquerade as a good person, you’re a cheater and a liar.
When you await my gallows, you’ll see inside you were materialistic and shallow.
You can hide from the world, you can hide from yourself, but not from me.
I see with death’s gaze, I see any and all dishonor, disgrace and shame.
Your structure will crumble, that devil will leave you when the time is right.
Your ever present hope and faith was in a false prophet, because everything you attained, was
by the blood of the innocence.
You’re free to live in denial, but on your dying day you’ll see the error in your ways.
We’ll have your bed ready, for the decay.
Your grand finale.
Wear your mask, loathe yourself in secret, but I see with death’s gaze.
I see your dishonor, your shame.
Live in denial, hide your disgrace, death always gets reprisal.
Death’s gaze, the eyes of virtue and all that’s true.
When you can see the other side, you can see through any heart by staring in their eyes.

A cracked skull, eyeless sockets.
Let the snakes slither and the forsaken gather.
Our souls compel us.
Your lies tempt us.
The rage has no end, bury you in the results.
Check the final score.
Once we’re done, all hell will have heard it’s last tumult.
One more heart beat, one last tear, reacting on one decaying impulse.
Our honor will not be forgotten, our longing will be fulfilled.
Pierce the first wave with fire, erase the past with blood.
Skeleton man, traumatized, broken and battered, get up we need you again.
Rattlesnake fangs hang by your neck, put your gun back to shoulder.
We haven’t reached the end.
